National Planning Commission (NPC) and the Ministry of Education have launched the Malawi 2063 comic book, meant to shape the next generation’s understanding of the country’s prosperity agenda.
NPC Director General, Thomas Munthali, emphasised that this will instil and influence a mindset change among children.
Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Mangani Chilala Katundu, said the ministry will ensure the book is accessible to all learners in the country.
Country Director for UNICEF Malawi, Shadrack Omol, reaffirmed UNICEF’s commitment to supporting this educational effort.
Omol said the book is a key part of empowering children to contribute to the realisation of Malawi’s long-term aspirations.
