Ngabu Vehicle Inspection Station to open this month

Government says Ngabu Vehicle Inspection Station in Chikwawa will be opened towards the end of May 2024.

Minister of Transport, Jacob Hara, made the remarks when he toured the station to appreciate the upgrading works.

Commenring on the development, Andrew Sandula, Director of Directorate of Road Safety Services, said what is remaining at the station is the installation vehicle testing equipment.

Once the station is opened, motorists from Chikwawa and Nsanje seeking services of the directorate that include motor vehicle certificate of fitness and renewal of licences will no longer be required to travel to its regional offices in Blantyre or Lilongwe.
