Vice Chancellor for Mzuzu University (MZUNI), Professor Wales Singini, says the institution has scaled up efforts aimed at promoting research that has meaningful impact in the society.
Singini said this in Lilongwe during the signing of a synergy with the Centre for Agricultural Transformation (CAT).
He added that the partnership will help the university to produce graduates that are ready for the industry.
CAT Executive Director, Mcloud Nkhoma, said the joint venture will, among others, promote use of neglected genetics, enhance knowledge sharing on technological innovations and increase income streams among smallscale farmers.
