MUBAS students aim to help fellow student

Students from the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences have embarked on a charity walk from their campus to Blantyre Nandos and Sunbird Road to raise funds for their fellow student, Fortune Milanzi, who is battling plastic anemia.

The 20-year-old has been temporarily withdrawn from university due to his medical condition and urgently requires a bone marrow transplant or AGT + Cyclosporine treatment, costing approximately K30 million.

The students are appealing to the general public to join the walk and support their cause.

Donations can be made through FDH Bank, Tnm Mpamba, or Airtel money using the provided account details.

MUBAS Student Union President, Gershom Nyirenda emphasized the importance of assisting their fellow student and encouraged people of goodwill to contribute.
