MEC urges professionalism in 2025 elections

Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) has urged Constituency Civil and Voter Education Assistants (CCVEAs) to uphold professionalism and deliver accurate information to citizens ahead of the September 2025 tripartite elections.

MEC Commissioner, Dr Emmanuel Fabiano, emphasised this during a training session for CCVEAs in Dowa on Wednesday.

Fabiano highlighted the critical role of CCVEAs in promoting civic engagement and educating citizens about the electoral process.

Representatives from 229 constituencies in the country are expected to participate in the training sessions which will conclude tommorow 26th September 2024.
