The Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MCCCI) has been hailed for setting the agenda for businesses in the country.
Chief Executive Officer for Reunion Insurance, Company Dorothy Chapeyama, made the remarks in Blantyre when donating a K2 million cheque towards the MCCCI’s forthcoming business leaders’ summit slated for next month in Mangochi District.
Chapeyama said the MCCCI is a true partner as it works for the betterment of the business community.
Chief Executive Officer for MCCCI, Daisy Kambalame, said the organisation will continue working towards creating a conducive environment for the business community amid the world economic crisis.
“The meeting, which starts from 25th to 27th April will bring together business leaders who will discuss ways of sustaining business operations despite the global economic shocks,” Kambalame said.
