The Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MCCCI) has appointed Daisy Kambalame as the new Chief Executive Officer.
She replaces Chancellor Kaferapanjira who has been at the helm of the institution for 21 years.
According to a statement from the chamber, Kambalame holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Reading University in United Kingdom.
The new CEO has further worked for African Institute of Corporate Citizenship (AICC) as CEO and is a Malawi Investment Trade Centre (MITC) Board member.
Her appointment is with effect from March 5, 2024.
