The newly appointed Principal Secretary responsible for economic affairs in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs, Jacob Mazalale, has pledged to use his academic knowledge and experience to help the government realise its economic goals.
Yesterday, President Dr Lazarus Chakwera appointed Mazalale, an economics lecturer at the University of Malawi.
Speaking to MBC, Mazalale said he will work hand in hand with relevant authorities to advance key deliverables as outlined in Dr Chakwera’s State of the Nation Address.
