All is set for the commemoration of the World Tuberculosis (TB) and Leprosy Day at Khaya Primary School Ground in Traditional Authority Chikumbu in Mulanje where the Minister of Health, Khumbize Kandodo Chiponda, is expected to preside over the event.
The day aims to raise public awareness about the devastating health, social, and economic consequences of the disease and to step up efforts to end the global TB epidemic.
This year’s day is being commemorated under the theme: ‘Yes we can end TB and beat leprosy.’
