LLDHO records 97% measles vaccine coverage

Lilongwe District Council Office has managed 97% coverage of vaccinating eligible children with measles vaccine.

Lilongwe District Health Office (LLDHO) Public Relations Officer, Richard Mvula, confirmed they reached 138,657 children from the targeted 142,945.

Mvula said the vaccination campaign was well received by the affected communities and no household faced any challenge in accessing the vaccine.

As of Tuesday, the city has had 140 cumulative cases (20 new cases), 4 cumulative discharges with zero cumulative deaths.
