Lilongwe Police have arrested a popular TikTok content creator, Innocent Sengimana, also known as iPhone Daddy, on suspicion of fraud.

Sengimana, a 23-year-old Rwandese of Malawian descent, allegedly swindled people out of K5 million by promising to supply them with iPhone 13 gadgets, which he failed to deliver.

He is also accused of misusing rented cars for his social media activities and failing to pay the rental fees.

Additionally, Sengimana allegedly took two iPhones worth K3.5 million from a client to sell on their behalf but disappeared with the proceeds.
