Chief Resident Magistrate Austin Banda is shortly expected to start reading his sentence on former Malawi Electoral Commissioner Linda Kunje following her conviction for obstructing a presidential convoy.
Kunje committed the offence in 2020 together with her former driver, JonesTewesa, who will also be sentenced today.
Kunje and her former driver, have already arrived in the courtroom.
The courtroom is fully parked with some sympathisers and journalists standing waiting for the arrival of the Chief Resident Magistrate Banda to pronounce his ruling on Kunje and Tewesa.
