IT firm gives Beit Cure K15 million for children’s surgeries

Beit CURE Children’s Hospital has received K15 million from Sparc Systems Limited in its quest to operate on 2300 children this year, at a cost of K210 million.

Director of Programmes and Development for the hospital, Davie Simengwa, said the money will help underprivileged children reach their full potential.

However, Simengwa said there are 80 remaining surgeries that require funding.

Sparc Systems Managing Director, Wisely Phiri, said the hospital’s efforts in supporting children with disabilities are commendable in the attainment of Malawi 2063 hence the support.

Beit CURE Children’s Hospital Malawi has since organised an annual fundraising dinner, scheduled for 27 September this year in Blantyre.
