Government of Malawi has launched a booklet that contains a compilation of tax incentives and reduced taxes on agricultural equipment and products.
Speaking at the launch in Lilongwe, Minister of Agriculture Sam Kawale said the incentives were already in place but most farmers were not aware.
He said the booklet will therefore help sensitise farmers on the reduced taxes or those that have been removed so that they can fully take advantage of them in their business.
He further said the booklet will be translated into various languages so that farmers can understand its contents.
