Chairperson for the 2024 Gonapamuhanya Cultural Festival, Group Village Headman Jeyeka says this year’s ceremony will focus on advancing the interests of women and the youth as an enabler of development in the country.
Jeyeka said the country cannot develop without the participation of the two minority groups.
Gonapamuhanya ceremony celebrates the chieftaincy of Chikulamayembe, who is the head chief for Tumbukas.
The ceremony will be held at Kadumuliro in Paramount Chief Chikulamayembe on 5 October, 2024 in Rumphi District.
