President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has expressed sadness over the death of former sports minister and journalist, Moses Dossi.
Dossi died in the early hours of Thursday at Blantyre Adventist Hospital in Blantyre where he was receiving medical treatment.
In a brief statement, President Chakwera says Dossi’s legacy will be remembered.
“My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends and all who admired him as a sportsman, a politician, an author and journalist,” reads the statement.
And former president Peter Mutharika has also shared his grief over Dossi’s death, saying he touched many lives through his sports commentary.
Dossi will be laid to rest at Chapananga in Chikwawa District on Saturday and has died at the age of 70.
