Death toll in the road accident that happened in Mzuzu has risen to four.
Northern Region Police spokesperson Maurice Chapola says three more people have been pronounced dead at Mzuzu Central Hospital.
He says two others with severe injuries are receiving treatment at the same hospital.
Chapola says Adrian Mhango, the driver of the car that was involved in the accident, is still at a large.
The car swept pedestrians at Tikumphire Lodge in Chibavi Township allegedly due to speeding.
