Traditional leaders in Dowa have assured President Dr Lazarus Chakwera of a landslide victory in the district because of developments he is implementing nationwide.
Senior Chief Dzoole said this at Dzoole Trading Centre during President Chakwera’s stopover rally.
He said Dr Chakwera is implementing important developments, which have convinced people of Dowa to entrust their faith in him.
On the other hand, Senior Chief Kayembe thanked the President for bringing electricity to the area, constructing bridges and also for the Social Cash Transfer Programme.
Senior Chief Chakhaza said the President continues to honour chiefs by considering more chiefs with an honorarium.
Traditional Authority Mponela said the President does not segregate people when providing development, as evidenced by countrywide projects underway.
