President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has emphasised the importance of solving regional challenges together among SADC countries, saying people in the region share a common background.
The Malawi leader was speaking on departure at Kamuzu International Airport for Zambia to attend an Extraordinary Summit of the SADC Organ Troika.
President Chakwera said top on the agenda are security issues in Democratic Republic of Congo and Mozambique plus El-Nino weather that has affected the region.
Dr Chakwera is expected to return home on Saturday March 23,2024.
