President Dr Lazarus Chakwera is today leading Malawians in celebrating National Day of Unity and Dialogue at Malawi Square in the capital, Lilongwe.
At the function, various ethnic groups converged to showcase their diversity in culture, food, dress and dances. The event has also brought together different political parties.
The National Day of Unity was conceptualised by the Ministry of Unity to accord Malawians a chance to celebrate and reflex on the need to promote unity and peace as a catalyst for development.
