CFTC OPENS OFFICES IN MZUZU

The Competition and Fair Trading Commission (CFTC) has opened its offices in Mzuzu to have visibility in all the regions.

CFTC Acting Executive Director, Apoche Itimu, said the commission assists in protecting the rights of both the consumer and business entities.

“CFTC was established in 2013 to help protect and safeguard the rights of the consumers like you and me as well as of those business enterprises,” explained Itimu.

Speaking on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer for Mzuzu City Council, Khumbo Nyirenda said the coming of CFTC will help to regulate businesses and enhance competition in the city.

CFTC Mzuzu offices are housed in PEACE Building opposite Mzuzu Reserve Bank in Katoto location.
