Betway Malawi has advised its customers on the significance of responsible gambling, saying excessive gambling is hazardous to health.
Betway Malawi Marketing Manager, Alex Kachepa, made the remarks in Blantyre during the availing of two new betting features that the company has introduced called BetSaver and BetInfluencer where customers will get their stakes back or win something if a bet misses by at least two games.
“As for BetInfluencer, a person that shares an online bet through a code automatically earns four percent commission on the friends’ bets,” said Kachepa.
Kachepa said the company has a 24/7 customer service centre whose other responsibilities are to advise customers on responsible gambling and how to deal with addictions that come with betting.
