Officials in Mozambique have urged Malawian exporters and importers to take advantage of Beira Port’s cost-effectiveness, highlighting its proximity to Malawi and expedited clearance processes.
The officials made this appeal in Beira to a group of Malawian journalists who are touring various developments in the country.
Miguel de Jenga, Operations Director at Beira Port, emphasised that the port is the most efficient route for Malawian exporters and importers seeking to maximise profits.
He also assured Malawians of continued efficiency at the port.
Malawi, being a landlocked country, relies on neighbouring nations for its exports and imports.
