One person has died while several others have been rushed to Kasungu District Hospital following a minibus accident near Lusa along the Santhe – Chinkhoma Road.
Mavuto Chinamule, an eyewitness, says the accident happened after a rear tyre of the vehicle, a Toyota Hiace minibus which was heading towards Kasungu from Lilongwe, burst.
While confirming the accident, Kasungu Police Public Relations Officer Joseph Kachikho said the police would provide more details later.
