Maranatha Private Academy has entered into a partnership with global mobile technology brand Tecno Mobile to enhance digital learning and promote academic excellence in Malawi.
Managing Director of Maranatha Academy, Ernest Kaonga, said the collaboration marks a significant step towards integrating technology into education, ensuring learners are equipped with modern digital skills.
Through the arrangement, Maranatha has become an authorised dealer of Tecno electronics, a move expected to improve access to affordable devices for both students and staff.
Kaonga noted that access to reliable technology will strengthen e-learning, research and innovation in schools. He added that the initiative aligns with global trends where digital tools are central to effective teaching and learning.
As part of the partnership, the institution has also introduced a “Best Student in Malawi” award aimed at recognising outstanding learners. The award will consider not only academic performance but also discipline, leadership and creativity.
Kaonga said the recognition is expected to motivate learners nationwide to strive for excellence while fostering healthy academic competition.
He further expressed hope that the initiative will inspire other institutions to embrace technology-driven education and contribute to improving learning standards across the country.
