The Ministry of Gender has hailed Ecobank for introducing financial solutions that align well with the ministry’s digitalisation roadmap.
Deputy Director for Social Welfare in the Ministry of Gender Laurent Kansinjiro said this in Lilongwe at the launch of a digital banking innovation by Ecobank called Omni to Wallet.
Kansinjiro expressed hope that the innovation will support social protection interventions by ensuring that beneficiaries are getting timely payments.
Executive Director for Ecobank Weluzani Chingota said Omni to Wallet offers multiple transfers to several beneficiaries directly from Business or Corporate accounts to mobile wallets.
