One of the aspiring candidates for the position of Secretary General in the Malawi Congress Party (MCP), Chris Chaima Banda, has unveiled his manifesto document titled ‘A bold, strong and equitable MCP’.
Speaking after the launch in Lilongwe, Chaima Banda said he will continue to work with various leaders in the party to ensure it remains strong.
He said with the support he has on the ground, he is optimistic that he will carry the day.
MCP Regional Chairperson for the Centre, Patrick Zebron Chilondola, said the competition for various positions in the coming elective conference justifies that MCP is democratic.
Over 500 delegates are expected to attend the elective conference.
