Minister of Homeland Security and Malawi Congress Party (MCP) National Executive Committee member, Ken Zikhale Ng’oma has called on residents in Kasungu to register and vote in the forthcoming 2025 elections.
Speaking at Malepera Primary School in the district, Zikhale emphasized that this election is crucial for maintaining Malawi’s development progress, including infrastructure, electricity solutions, mega farms, and empowerment initiatives for women and youths.
He urged voters not to be swayed by opposition statements, highlighting MCP government’s accomplishments.
Speaking earlier, First Deputy Speaker Madalitso Kazombo and former MCP Secretary General Eisenhower Mkaka said there is need for unity and support for the current administration.
The event also featured a ground breaking ceremony for the Kapaladzala EPA and discussions on agricultural initiatives.
