WAG Disability Rights says it has scaled up efforts aimed at enhancing access to Sexual and Reproductive Health Services(SRHS) for women and girls with disabilities.
National Coordinator for WAG Disability Rights, Stella Nkhonya, made the remarks in Lilongwe during a planning meeting for an upcoming project on reproductive health and Gender Based Violence (GBV).
“Majority of girls and women with disabilities struggle to access SRHS so the project intends to empower them and will be implemented in Lilongwe,” said Nkhonya.
Registered in 2016, WAG Disability Rights promotes the rights of girls and women with disabilities receiving support from international partners.
