The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces that President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has delegated Vice President Dr Michael Usi to represent him at the inauguration of Rwanda’s President-elect, Paul Kagame.
Dr Usi will attend the ceremony, scheduled for Sunday, 11 August 2024, in Kigali, Rwanda.
The visit, at the invitation of President Kagame, is anticipated to further strengthen and deepen bilateral relations between the two nations.
The Vice President is set to depart from Kamuzu International Airport on Saturday
