Minister of Gender Jean Sendeza is expected to launch the 2024-2030 national strategy of political empowerment of women at Lithipe Secondary School in Dedza District.
This strategy seeks to increase women representation in Parliament and at council level.
Also present at the event are Deputy Minister of Water and Sanitation Liana Kakhobwe, Deputy Minister of Education, Nancy Chaola Mdooko, members of Parliament for Mangochi Central, Victoria Kingston, Mangochi South legislator Lilian Patel and Dedza Central East MP, Joshua Malango.
