Old Mutual partners Sanwecka to empower youths

Old Mutual Malawi has encouraged the youth to equip themselves with essential skills and knowledge through vocational training, which can see them creating business opportunities.

Old Mutual’s Marketing Manager, Patience Chatsika, said this when presenting a K10 million cheque to Sanwecka Tech Companions in Lilongwe to cater for the training of 35 youths from Mtandire and Mtsiliza areas in the city.

The training will cover areas such as computer and gadget repair, dish installation, audio and video production refrigeration and air conditioning.

She noted that Old Mutual Malawi’s commitment to various initiatives designed to reduce poverty and tackle high unemployment rates in the country.
