Mzuzu mass grave trial stalls as defendant fails to appear

One of the accused persons in the aggravated man slaughter and human trafficking case involving Tadikira Mafubza and seven others, Sam Navaya has pulled a no show at the court in Mzuzu.

The development has forced High Court judge Gladys Gondwe to adjourn the case for an hour hoping that Navaya will show up.

The High Court in Mzuzu is expected to make its ruling on the case in which 30 Ethiopians were found in a mass grave at Ntangatanga in Mzimba in October 2022.
