President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has stressed that youths in the country must benefit from the National Economic Empowerment Fund (NEEF) loan opportunities.
Dr Chakwera was speaking Thursday at Dowa Boma when he held a whistle stop tour to update people in the district about developments the government is undertaking and plans to implement new ones.
Dr Chakwera observed that there had been some bottlenecks as regards NEEF such as collateral that were standing in the way of most people. But he assured that this is being addressed, pointing out that currently, around 300,000 people have already benefitted from the programme.
Senior Chief Msakambewa commended the government for development activities in his area.
