The Malawi Law Society (MLS) has relaunched its Law Journal, 12 years since it was last published.
According to Attorney General Thabo Chakaka Nyirenda, the journal is a milestone in as far as Law is concerned.

“The journal will go a long way in enlightening the masses on law issues, not only for the academia, professionals but citizens as well,” he said.
MLS president, Patrick Mpaka, reiterated the society’s commitment to conducting research on evolving legal issues.

“We are mandated to conduct research, and given the dynamic nature of law, the journal plays a critical role in its evolution,” said Mpaka.
The Law Journal, initially introduced in 2007, will now be produced twice annually, covering a wide range of topics of national interest.
