Malawi Congress Party’s (MCP) Second Vice Secretary General, Uchizi Mkandawire, has called on eligible Malawians to register with the Malawi Electoral Commission in preparation for next year’s general elections.
He has made the call in Karonga where the MCP is set to hold elections in the North-North Region to fill positions left vacant after some members were elected to the party’s National Executive Committee.
Positions to be filled include Deputy Regional Chairperson and Director of Campaign.
Those vying for the Deputy Regional Chairman’s position are James Mwaisemba, Abraham Mwakhwawa and Lenard Mwalwanda.
