Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) is pledging continued collaboration with District Information Officers to ensure uninterrupted information flow to the citizenry.
MBC Director of News and Programmes Zilani Khonje Phiri has made the commitment in Dowa following a three day workshop on news production for radio.
According to Phiri, MBC is always ready to make use of news content from across the districts through DIOs hence the decision to conduct the special training on technical aspects of producing radio stories.
She therefore urged the DIOs to come up with stories that have a special focus on development.
The workshop attracted more than 28 DIOs.
