By close of business today, Malawi National Spelling Bee will have identified nine top-performing students at the 2024 national spelling bee final in Lilongwe.
Six of the students will participate in this year’s Africa Spelling Bee, to be held in Nigeria in December 2024.
Malawi National Spelling Bee Chief Executive Officer, Lewis Mbaula, said 50 schools, both from urban and rural areas, are competing in the finals after emerging as victors in the regional finals.
