LPG PRICE DOWN

The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) has gone down.

Government through  Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority (MERA) reduced the price of cooking gas alongside petrol.

In an interview with Malawi Broadcasting Corporation,  Chief Executive Officer for MERA, Henry Kachaje, said the MERA Board decided to reduce the price of petrol by assessing all the factors following the Automatic Pricing Mechanism.

Due to the changes effected, the LPG will be selling at K2,600 from K2726.

The prices of Diesel and Paraffin have not been affected.
