Former Supreme Court Judge, Justice Dunstain Mwaungulu, says the economic vision of newly-elected UTM president, Dalitso Kabambe, is a pipe dream.
Kabambe recently released a seven-point plan which he says, among others, aims at growing the economy through fiscal, monetary and exchange policies.
Mwaungulu says he checked Kabambe’s vision but finds it wanting as it does not show exactly what will be done to the economy to realise the vision.
The former judge further adds that having held a number of positions in the government, including that of Governor at the Reserve Bank of Malawi, Kabambe should share the difficulties the economy faced.
He then challenged the new UTM President to a debate to further his arguments.
Kabambe was not immediately available for a comment.
