A German-based charitable organization, Landt Foundation and the Anglican Diocese of Southern Malawi have partnered to build a secondary school in Blantyre rural.
Construction of the new school, christened St. Paul’s Anglican Private Secondary, started in January this year and the contractor IMMAS Building Limited is expected to hand it over to the diocese so that students should start classes, come 16 September 2024.
The diocese has since instituted a board of governors to run the school for four years.
Aaron Landt from Landt Foundation believes that the institution will provide quality education to students, including the less privileged.
Landt Foundation is registered in Germany and implements charity works in Malawi and other countries.
The organisation also constructed Angelogoveya Primary School in Blantyre which was handed over to the government.
