Reserve Bank of Malawi has challenged ankers in the country to fully embrace digital transformation as a growth driver if they are to meaningfully contribute to the country’s economic growth.
Deputy Governor for the Reserve Bank of Malawi, William Matambo, made the remarks in Mangoch when he opened the 7th Annual Bankers Lakeshore Conference.
Matambo further said when players fully migrate, it will benefit both their establishment as well as their customers.
The conference is being held under the theme: “Catching tomorrow today: positioning for unprecedented digital transformation.’
