A Christian-based organisation, Sub Sahara Africa Family Enrichment (SAFE), has handed over 30 houses to the elderly of Nseula Village in the area of Senior Chief Malemia in Zomba.
SAFE Executive Director, Benjamin Khoswe, said they thought of assisting the elderly in the area while implementing their projects as one way of giving back to communities.
One of the beneficiaries, Margaret Ng’ombe, commended SAFE for the gesture, saying she lost everything during Cyclone Freddy.
The houses have been built to the tune of K138 million.
