Hilary Chilomba is the acting Director General of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) following the expiry of contract for Martha Chizuma who was in that role.
Chilomba has been serving as ACB Deputy Director General.
The Bureau’s Principal Public Relations Officer, Egrita Ndala, states that Chilomba has assumed the position as per Section 8 of the Corrupt Practices Act and all operations at the bureau are continuing.
In January this year , the Public Appointments Committee of Parliament confirmed Chilomba as the Deputy Director General for ACB.
