A child has sustained injuries while a vehicle has been trapped following the collapse of a bus shelter at Mangochi Main Bus Depot.
Eye witnesses claim that the structure was already in a dilapidated state, having allegedly been neglected by the district’s council officials.
Ernest Kadzokoya, the Chief Executive Officer for Mangochi Town Council, declined to comment on the matter, stating that a comprehensive report on the incident is pending.
