President Dr Lazarus Chakwera is visiting Mzuzu Flea Market to appreciate some of the challenges that vendors are facing.
Upon arrival, the President was welcomed by Minister of Local Government Richard Chimwendo Banda, Minister of Justice Titus Mvalo, Minister of Defence Harry Mkandawire, Mayor for Mzuzu City Gift Nyirenda, Mzuzu City Council Chief Executive Officer Gomezgani Nyasulu among other dignitaries.
The President will go through Zigwagwa Market as well.
Mzuzu Main Market was constructed in 1992.
