President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has left the Capital Hill after a full day of attending to a number of official matters.
Among others, Dr Chakwera met ministers of Tourism, Agriculture and Mining. The meeting centred on assessing preparations of the forthcoming Agriculture, Tourism and Mining Promotion Week scheduled for 19 to 27 April.
The ATM Promotion Week is expected to woo local and international investors to tap into opportunities and promote the sectors for the economic development of the country.
During the day, Dr Chakwera also met different ministers and officials from different government departments.
The President was welcomed by Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Colleen Zamba and other OPC officials.
