Bullets condemn violence at Kamuzu Stadium, commit to cover damages

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have condemned the acts of violence that occurred at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre during their Super League game against Silver Strikers, which they lost 1-0.

A statement issued by management of the club says they will fully support the inquest launched by the Super League of Malawi (SULOM) to identify and hold accountable those that were behind the acts.

The club expresses sadness over the damage caused to Silver’s team bus during the violence and has since committed to help meet costs of repairing the bus.

Supporters, suspected to be from the Bullets camp, threw objects during and after the match.
The home team was also affected as their team bus tires were deflated.
