Police in Blantyre have arrested Bright Edward and Francisco Mwamulesha for theft and recovered assorted items worth K5 million which were stolen at Elite Lodge and other places at Chileka in Blantyre.
Chileka Police Station publicist, Jonathan Phillipo, says the suspects will appear in court soon to answer theft charge.
Philipo adds that the two stole 4 ECCO plasma screens, (32 inches), 4 Electric kettles and beddings at the lodge and were caught after investigations.
Edward, 28, hails from Makuluni Village, Traditional Authority Njema in Mulanje District while Mwamulesha, 38, hails from Mphandekucha Village of Traditional Authority Wasambo in Kalonga District.
