Bangwe All Stars seeks to raise K75 million from their fundraising dinner scheduled for Golden Peacock Hotel in Blantyre on Saturday.
The club’s Chief Executive Officer, Chikumbutso Mathumba, stated that they want to generate funds for the club’s operations in the upcoming 2024 football season.
Mathumba revealed that their budget is set at K150 million and that they have already secured half of the amount through contributions from management and supporters.
Tickets for the dinner are going at K25,000 for individuals and K40,000 per couple.
Sponsorship categories range from K1 million for silver to K3 million for platinum.
The event will feature performances by Skeffa Chimoto and Gibo Pearson.
The club, owned by businessman Mphatso Jika, finished sixth in its debut Super League season in 2023.
